What gun safe interiors are available?

Gun safe interiors do not seem to vary any longer but there are still a few options to choose from. The first gun safes were not carpeted. Now I would be hard pressed to even find a gun safe that does not have a covered interior. What changes from manufacturer to manufacturer is the color of the carpeting. Also, if you buy a cheap safe you should not be surprised if it shows up dirty or with glue spots.

Shelving comes in two configurations: all shelves (typically 4 shelves that go all the way across) and gun racking: a racking system designed to accommodate long guns. Really large gun safes may have configurations that vary over time: it's always a good idea not to rely on the picture.
