One of the most overlooked security solutions is modular vaults. For around $20,000
to $40,000 you can have a modular vault that is built to exactly suit your needs
and is far more secure, spacious, and convenient than a jewelry safe.
There are two main groups of customers who buy modular vaults: large jewelry
stores and residential customers. Jewelry stores usually are seeking insurance
coverage between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000, want to speed up the time necessary to
open and close the store with convenient baker's trays, and are building a new store.
Residential customers typically seek a vault to protect their valuables and are
interested in creating a room that can double as a panic room to protect their families.
Whereas jewelry stores tend to have free and clear room for a fork lift to operate,
residences tend to require light-weight vaults that can be built using pallet jacks. Light-weight
vaults can cost twice as much as regular vaults but their weight is often 60% less than that of
a regular vault.
Most vault projects take 7 weeks to complete from the date you place your order. Please keep in
mind that it takes you, on average, about 2 weeks to place an order. From the day I submit your order,
the factory responds within a couple of days with engineering drawings for you to approve
and then completes the panels
in about 4-6 weeks. Then the panels and door are shipped on flatbeds to the job site and the installer
meets the vault and installs it in one or two days (a little longer for upstairs residential projects).
Call me at 949-480-2384 with the details of your project. I will need to know the
exact dimensions of the place where the vault will be located. Please make sure to
account for things hanging from the ceiling such as sprinkler systems. I will also need
to know how much coverage you are trying to get or what your security goals are.
If the location has forklift access, I will be able to give you a quote right away. If
it does not I will get back to you with your vault's installed price within 24 hours.
Vault burglary classifications
Modular vaults carry three UL Burglary classifications: Class M, 1, and 2. There
are other classifications, but these are the ones that I can quote.
